This gorgeous Basset fauve de Bretagne is called Greta and about 2-3 years old. She is of medium size and weights about 13kg. Greta is currently in Spain and came into our care recently having been found abandoned with her babies. She is love personified, and adores cuddles and affection. She’s very sweet natured and obedient, also sometimes she can be a little stubborn.
Greta is also very active and playful and will need a family who enjoys the outdoors and exploring in nature, to satisfy her typical breed instincts. At some points like walking on the lead she still needs training, therefore she is looking for a home who is patient and has the time and commitment to keep training and education her.
Greta is a social girl who is currently living with more dogs and enjoys their company, but she isn’t keen on cats, so a home a without cats is best for her. Please also keep in mind that she isn’t used to live with children why we don’t have any information about how she would be living with them.
Greta is health checked, spayed and will travel with vaccinations and tested for Mediterranean diseases. She would suit an active and nature-loving family, who appreciate this breed needs to spend time moving and exploring scents outdoors, but are also very loving dogs as well who adore their people. A fully fenced garden is a must, as is time and patience to help her settle and adjust to life in a home.
Greta is in Spain but can travel to her forever home in England/Wales (NOT Scotland) as soon as her forever home comes forward. If you feel you could be a good match, please get in touch.
For further details regarding adopting a dog from TeLuMa’s Dream, please email Marta, Jessica, Olga or Alicia at email@example.com or visit our website www.telumasdream.co.uk. We are a voluntary organization which rescues primarily dogs from a public pound in Galicia, in Northern Spain, where the dogs instead of living, are trying to survive. 99% of the dogs are strays or have been abandoned by their owners on the street. The dogs are a variety of breeds and come in all shapes and sizes!
We are funded entirely by donations and work hard in our free time to help rescue and rehome as many dogs as possible. With your help we can continue our work and provide food, bedding, medical supplies and care for the dogs until they are well enough to find their forever homes.
All dogs rehomed via TeLuMa’s Dream are microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, deflead and spayed/neutered if old enough, if not the adoption contract will stipulate that this is done as soon as old enough and this will be checked with your vet.
We re-home dogs anywhere in the U.K. This means that you can apply if you have a U.K postal code. Our aim is to pair each dog with the right new owner, ensuring that it will be safe, cared for and loved for the rest of its life. Therefore all potential adopters will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Also a homecheck is carried out and a phone interview prior to adoption. We offer a full rescue back up service to all our adopters and post-adoption support, which includes a Facebook support group and free behavioral advice.
